	Cincinnati Park Board  Event information - 513.352.4080   Possibly the finest urban park system in the country, Cincinnati Parks is Everybody's Backyard!   And The Cincinnati Park Board presents more free concert events with more variety than anyone else in town.  Bring your family to a concert or show in wonderful park settings.

Tracy Walker	LPK Acoustic Lunch beginning Tuesday, May 13 11:45am-1:45pm. Piatt Park, 8th & Vine, Downtown (Twenty-one concerts)   The area’s oldest and most prestigious lunchtime series.  A broad range of acoustic music just right to take the edge off your day.  Also featuring wandering specialty performers.  Thanks to LPK,  WNKU, and The Cincinnati Business Courier.    See Calendar for dates and performers.
Zumba	Sounds on the Towne beginning Thursday, May 15, 11:30-1:30pm. Piatt Park (8th & Elm) (Three concerts)   Sponsored by Towne Properties, this is another great chance to grab a sandwich and enjoy some fine music in a downtown park.    See Calendar for dates and performers.
Mike Wade Quartet	Plaza Jazz Series beginning Saturday, May 17 12:30-2:30pm. Diggs Plaza, Burnet Woods, Clifton at Ludlow (Three Spring concerts)   Grab a sandwich and groove to some jazz in the heart of downtown Clifton.    Thanks to WNKU and the Clifton Chronicle.    See Calendar for dates and performers.
Free Hot Dogs	Everybody's Backyard Picnics beginning Thursday, June 5 5:30-8:30pm at Stanbery Park, Mount Washington (Eight picnics in eight parks)    Cincinnati Parks are Everybody’s Backyard!  And what better place to have a picnic? Live music, great activities for the kids, and some free hot dogs, face painters, and balloon twisters.  What more could you want?    See Calendar for dates and performers.
Frisch Marionettes	Kids' Kickoff to Summer Saturday, May 31, 1- 4pm.  Trailside Museum, Burnet Woods   Come kick off the summer camp season with this great kids’ event.  Music, clowns, jugglers, magicians, marionettes, and a great petting zoo.  Plus free face painting, balloons, and other prizes.
Scheer's Lumberjack Show	Mt. Airy Forest Festival Saturday, September 27, 9am to 5pm. Oak Ridge Lodge, off Colerain Ave.   Featuring Scheer’s Lumberjack Show (as seen on ESPN), aerial rescue demonstrations, petting zoo, beekeeper with enclosed beehive, Nature Ed, games, live music, arts & crafts, food, and much more!
Hot Air Balloon Glow	Balluminaria! November 22, 4:30pm to 6pm. Mirror Lake, Eden Park   A holiday tradition!   Tethered hot air balloons light up the lake and nighttime sky for a unique photo opportunity.  Santa Claus will have free candy canes for the kids.  Hot chocolate, roasted almonds, and other hot food will be available.  Live holiday music and more at this free family event.  Shuttle service from Broadway Commons Park & Shuttle at 1009 Gilbert Ave.  (next to Greyhound Bus Station).

Midsummer at the Meadows  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday July 11, 12 & 13 Miami Meadows Park, St Rt 131 near Buckwheat Road

One of the area's most successful festivals, Midsummer at the Meadows drew over 40,000 people last year.   The event features old car shows, great food, tons of fun for the kids, fantastic entertainment, and fireworks on Saturday night.    For info 513.248.3725

Bad to the Bone Blues Festival Jane’s Saddlebag, Big Bone Lick Saturday, July 19, 2-9p Them Bones with Cheryl Renee Second year for this fine blues festival.  This time out it will feature three of the finest female-fronted acts in local blues. For info call 877.724.4266

Deerfield Towne Center Summer Concerts 5305 Deerfield Blvd., Mason Tuesdays beginning July 22, 7-9p (Six concerts)   Robin Lacy & DeZydeco The fourth year for this fine concert series features a family friendly atmosphere with free lemonade and iced tea.  Stop at the concerts while visiting the many excellent retail outlets and shops at the Deerfield Towne Center or get carryout from one of the fine restaurants and picnic with us. Days in Deer Park Chamberlain Park, 7640 Plainfield Rd. Friday & Saturday, August 1 & 2   Leroy Ellington & The E-Funk Band This fine neighborhood festival was re-vamped in 2007 and is now bigger and better than ever.  It’s fun for the whole family with lots of entertainment for kids and grownups alike and plenty of parking. Glier’s Goettafest Newport on the Levee Festival Level Friday, Saturday, and Sunday August 1, 2, & 3   Glier's Goettafest Come try Goetta in all in its forms and hear some of the area’s finest music.   Rapidly becoming one of the city’s premier events, Glier’s Goettafest moved to its home at Newport on the Levee in 2005 and has proceeded to break attendance records every year since.   For info call 859.291.1800
