Overview
Johnny Schott Talent & Events is an event production, talent booking and entertainment services company. Johnny has been a full-time event producer and talent provider since 1995 with experience in event production and entertainment services going back over 3 decades. The company’s recent client list includes the MainStrasse Village (Covington, KY), The City of Cincinnati (Cincinnati Parks), The Cincinnati Reds, The City of Amelia, The City of Bellevue, The City of Deer Park, The City of Madeira, The City of Wyoming, Olde Williamsburgh, Miami Township, Sycamore Township, Springfield Township, Pierce Township, Union Township, The Hollywood Casino, The Belterra Casino, The Beach Waterpark, and many others. Johnny produces over 150 events per year, large and small, in addition to providing talent for many smaller parties and shows. (See our Current Events Page for a calendar of coming events.)

This past year, the company produced or assisted with over 300 dates including Marshall Tucker and The Fabulous Thunderbirds for Miami Township’s Midsummer at the Meadows and Ambrosia, Orleans, and Elvin Bishop, for Sycamore Township’s Festival in Sycamore. Johnny also brought in Tommy James & The Shondells for the opening of a new park in Sycamore and Tony Orlando to the Commons Club at the Brooks in Bonita Springs, FL.
In 2010, Johnny will be bringing The Gin Blossoms and Eddie Money to Miami Township and Survivor and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas to Sycamore Township.
In addition, Johnny Schott Talent & Events is proud to be the Event Producer for the Cincinnati Park Board and just recently had that contract renewed through 2012 The company will produce 35 events for Cincinnati Parks in 2010 including The LPK Acoustic Lunch at Piatt Park Series, The Plaza Jazz Series, Everybody’s Backyard Picnics, The Kick-Off to Summer Celebration, The Concert by the Lake, The Mt. Airy Forest Festival, and Balluminaria!, the traditional holiday hot-air balloon glow Johnny has been producing for the past 15 years.
And again this year the company will be producing Glier’s Goettafest at Newport on the Levee, Spring Grove Cemetery’s 6th Annual Lantern Lighting Event, Madeira’s Street Dance and Independence Day Celebration, and Union Township’s Summer Concerts.
How We Work
As an entertainment services company, it is the client who dictates the nature of our work. In some cases, the company only consults on an event, providing ideas, critiques, or expertise in fund raising. In others, we provide only talent and/or technical services. On some occasions, we work with the client to build an event from the ground up, assisting with everything from concept, to sponsorships, to marketing, to transportation, to concessions.
Because of the volume of business the company does with entertainers, PA and lighting people, staging companies, and the like, it is able to secure their services at very attractive rates and pass those savings on to its clients. The net is staying within the client’s budget while eliminating much of the work they do, freeing them to spend their time on marketing or other aspects of their event and making the whole experience that much more enjoyable.
Please do not be misled by any of the above information. While the company certainly does its share of larger events, we also provide talent and services for a great number of very small events and parties. Sometimes we provide only a balloon clown, comic, guitarist, or pianist.
